Adnà's Genetic Nutrition Test analyzes various aspects of nutrition and metabolism based on DNA. It examines the genes that affect vitamins, minerals and metabolism, enabling you to know which foods to prefer or to avoid. The test analyzes around 700,000 genetic markers, and is based on genetic studies recognized by the international scientific community.

For ease of understanding, this report is organized into the following categories:

Diet and weight (for example the effectiveness of a low-carb diet, or your predisposition to emotional eating)
Pathologies and intolerances (for example, lactose intolerance or type 2 diabetes)

What is nutrigenetics?
Nutrigenetics is the discipline that analyses the genetic variants in your DNA and that directly impact how you metabolize different molecules, as well as how you will respond to different diets. The best way to eat is by knowing your genetic tendencies to cholesterol, triglycerides, being overweight or not, etc. Other data you can see in your report includes how well you absorb vitamins B12 or E, for example.

How long will it take to receive my results?

The time required to process and analyze your sample depends on the type of report you have ordered. Once it arrives at the laboratory, processing times are as follows:

Parentage tests are processed in 24h to 48 hours and results are normally received within 10 days following processing.
Biomarker tests are processed in 7 to 14 working days.
Sports performance, nutrition, skincare, talent & personality, microbiome, genetic predisposition and pharmacogenetics tests are processed in 24h to 48 hours and results are normally received within 30 to 60 days of placing your order.

How will I receive my results?

You will receive an email notification when your report has arrived on the Adnà portal. Simply log in to your account.
