Adnà's Genetic Skincare Test analyzes how vitamins and minerals are metabolized and may affect your skin's natural aging process. It also examines how genetic hydration, elasticity and antioxidant capacity influence skin health.
Adnà's Skincare report provides information on Vitamin C levels, skin sensitivity, photo-aging, sun sensitivity and the likelihood of acne, among others.
It presents a detailed analysis of each of these traits, based on specific genetic information, accompanied by recommendations for supplements and dietary changes.
What your test can tell you
As an example, the test includes an analysis of glycation and vitamin D, elements that are essential for skin health. Glycation can affect skin elasticity, and a predisposition to vitamin D deficiency can also be identified. The test provides information on other important vitamins for the skin, such as vitamins B9, B12, C, E and the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It provides information on oxidative stress, skin sensitivity, skin inflammation, acne, varicose veins, and other characteristics important for defining a skin care strategy.
Process
The process for this test is simple:
- After ordering your test and receiving your collection kit, follow the detailed instructions for collecting your saliva sample.
- Register your kit and your personal information on the Adnà portal.
- Return your sample to the laboratory, in its original envelope, for sequencing and analysis.
- You will be notified by e-mail that your report has arrived in your customer portal on Adnà's website.

The time required to process and analyze your sample depends on the type of report you have ordered. Once it arrives at the laboratory, processing times are as follows:
- Parentage tests are processed in 24h to 48 hours and results are normally received within 10 days following processing.
- Biomarker tests are processed in 7 to 14 working days.
- Sports performance, nutrition, skincare, talent & personality, microbiome, genetic predisposition and pharmacogenetics tests are processed in 24h to 48 hours and results are normally received within 30 to 60 days of placing your order.
How will I receive my results?
You will receive an email notification when your report has arrived on the Adnà portal. Simply log in to your account.

- A parentage test uses DNA to establish family relationships.
